“We’ll just forget that you said that. Well, I’m here on business. I’m going to be joining his research team for now. They were in need of a cellular biologist.”

“Wonderful! So you’re a cellular biologist? What do you do exactly?”

“You don’t have to worry about all that. I work with Tony Stark,” he laughed and stepped forward when she stumbled, “You don’t have to leave, ma’am,”

“That must be amazing.” She had admired Tony’s work for a while and just recently had the chance to meet him. Betty shrugged lightly, unsure of what she would do if she stayed.”I have no clue why I would stay.”

“Did you check the kitchen? You like to leave them in there when you get something to drink and you’re in a rush,”

“Oh please, I don’t do that.” She said, looking around the kitchen for a moment, “I mean, who actually leaves they’re phone in t-…” She stopped opening the freezer and finding her glasses there, “Oh.”

“Your dad has done it a couple of times,”

He chuckled and nodded, “Thank you, you’re very nice as well,”

“And before I weird you out, I’m gonna go.” She began to walk away backwards, nearly tripping, but quickly regaining her balance. 

“You don’t have to worry about all that. I work with Tony Stark,” he laughed and stepped forward when she stumbled, “You don’t have to leave, ma’am,”

“I would have never have guessed. I think you have a very friendly, nice looking face….I mean, because you’re nice.”

He chuckled and nodded, “Thank you, you’re very nice as well,”

“I know he is. Don’t let him hear you say that though. His ego doesn’t need to get bigger.”

“He’d never let me live it down,” Happy chuckled, “I don’t think we could handle him if his ego got any worse,”

Happy stopped and regarded his friend with concern, “What happened?”

“I just haven’t slept in a few days, and Pepper was very upset with me… I deserved it, but still.” He sucked down his mug of coffee.

“What did you do that upset her so bad?” he inquired, “And why haven’t you been sleeping? You wanna talk about it?”

“Yes, actually.” She answered, looking around for a moment before turning her attention back to him, “I’m looking for my glasses. I’ve looked everywhere in the Tower. Have you seen them anywhere?”
